The (adventure) games on sale thread

And don’t forget that these and several other old adventure games are available for free on the ScummVM page:

Here’s a tip. Go to Gog and wishlist the Monkey Island games. Every few weeks ( I’ve noticed ) They go discounted. Doesn’t last long, you need to be quick with the link once you get the email but much cheaper than they are currently. Please do support the official ones rather than just snare the files for ScummVM.

Kona (only today):

And in the Humble Store there is the DRM-Free(dom) sale with several adventures:

Has anyone played this one? looks interesting…

I played it (a long time ago). It’s not a classic adventure - the term “interactive novel” is a better description IMHO. But the concept and the story are very interesting. I for myself don’t liked the interface. But if you are interested in unconventional games then you should give it a try and buy it in the/a sale. I enjoyed playing it.

“Conarium is a chilling Lovecraftian game that follows the gripping story of four scientists and their endeavour to challenge what we normally consider to be the “absolute” limits of nature.” (50% off on Gog):

I already own most of those adventure games (except Syberia 3), but Ghost of a Tale (an ARPG) looks really nice!
Anyone heared of the table-top game Mice and Mystics (a light RPG)? The settings reminds me very much of it.

Also another chance to get Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap

Is there a table-top game thread here? (I searched but I don’t trust the results). If not we start one!

Yes, please!

Flashback was brilliant as well. I wonder if that’s on gog as well…

/edit: Warning! It’s a really weird and hilarious adventure. It’s completely nuts. (Tip: Explore the world and don’t follow strictly the story.)

Legend of Kyrandia is less than 1€ right now on GOG
The second and third games in the series are just above 1€ too.

I remember playing the first a little bit back then, but getting frustrated with it. Picking up apples and rubies seemed to be the only thing I could do. I think I am getting them anyway to conquer a childhood demon.
