My favourite as a child were the Rasmus Klump cartoons (a.k.a Petzi Bär here in Germany). Though I don’t think they’d interest me much these days.

However, there was one particular comic book from my youth, that I used to read in the public library, which I really wanted to revisit. I had some of the imagery in my mind, but could not remember title or author. It took me several days (distributed over a period of two or three years) to find it again. To my surprise, it was still running, but I was mostly interested in getting that particular volume I knew:

I´d actually love to revisit those one day, because there got to be one of the first every things I “read” myself. I busied myself with those while sitting in the waiting room waiting for my mother give birth to my brother. They always made me hungry for pancakes. :pancakes:
