Now it just reminds me of this kids movie where the villain sings it.
Did they played the German or the English version?
German, the original one.
In the 80s here in Germany several Italian musicians were very popular. (Eros Ramazzotti, Gianna Nannini, etc.) I haven’t understood a word too.
I knew Eros Ramazzotti was popular in Germany, but I didn’t think even Gianna Nannini was! It’s surprising!
Can you name a song by Eros Ramazzotti?
First time I heard the English version I was like wtf is this shit. 99 red balloons, rofl
Oh, yes! For example “Bello e impossibile” was very popular.
I’ve several songs in my head right now, but I can’t name them - because I still don’t speak Italian and I wasn’t a real fan of him (so I don’t own an album). And the only reason why I can name the “Bello” song from Gianna is, that I can remember the “Bello”.
But have a look at the Wikipedia page - there you’ll find the positions in the charts for Germany:
btw: Also very popular are Zucchero, Paolo Conte and several other Italian musicians.
@ZakPhoenixMcKracken Btw, my wife is into Tiziano Ferro.
And with a pen and pad I compose this rhyme
To hit you and get you equipped for the summer time
This one also makes me feel summery
Last one, promise!
“Se bastasse una sola canzone…”
There was an under cover cop parked right across the road…
They mustn’t have been very undercover if you could tell who they were!
More like my song-of-the-last-ten-years
I like that that website’s called ‘dudeism.com’.
I say, wear it with pride my friend!
Yeah and I have at least three friends who are bald (a journalist, a movie theater owner and a heavy metal singer) all of them are among the coolest people I know.
