David Fox and Annie (Larris) Fox in Italy in September!

If I would take my Thimbleweed Park box for David to sign, should I:

  • Unwrap the box and get the signature on the cover
  • Keep the box wrapped and get the signature on the wrapping

That’s a very good question and I really can’t decide. With the signature on the box (= the cardboard) you can’t lose the signature.

I think that’s what made me choose the first option. I think I would either unwrap it and ask David to sign the box, or keep it wrapped and ask him to sign something else.

(I would probably wrap it myself again if I got it signed, just to protect it.)

I would probably leave my Thimbleweed Park box unsigned.

Oh, if only I could find my Zak McKracken box again!!!

@Festarossa: Do you “need” the wrapping? For example because you would like to sell the box in the future?

Right. Anyway, how many of us have unwrapped the box already?
Me!

Absolutely no doubt. Unwrap it.

For many reasons:

  1. you don’t want to sell it
  2. It’s not just a museum display. These boxes must be opened, they must breathe and live!
  3. The signatures of Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnik are on the box, not on the wrap.
  4. You can easily wrap it up again with a shrikwrap machine (they’re cheap, but in any copy center they’ll do it for you)

PS: Ron and gary used a golden felt tip pen

Keep the box wrapped, meet David, take a picture with you and David while holding your TWP box, find a photograph shop, extract your SD card, give SDcard to shopper, print it, pay, give printed photo to David, and let David sign it.
Easy.

by now, my mind is puzzled (twisted). I can speak only by Verb + Object + Preposition + Object/Person

And you call yourself indecisive with perfect solutions to dilemmas like that! :+1:

Now there’s a creative solution!

I would keep it wrapped only if I wanted to sell it someday.
I guess I won’t sell it.
Ergo, I’ll unwrap the box.

Is your box signed by Ron and Gary, or is it unsigned?

Hopefully they remember to include a “Talk To” verb this time!

Unsigned, which would maybe make it one-of-a-kind  Or not…

Come to think of it, I’m in the credits of TWP too, so maybe I should sign my box

:joy: I thought the same for my box!

I just discovered a NEW thing in Zak !! Well, new to me at least :open_mouth:
I am made a video which I hope will blow @milanfahrnholz and @Frenzie off their socks this time - (and if not, I am sure @tasse-tee will appreciate it)

See, this is why I LOVE Zak, @David !

Do you see the difference to videos that yield no results?

This one is great! I really didn´t know that! :joy:

How long did it take? Doesn´t he say he is able to last an hour or something with the cushion?

You clearly didn’t watch my stream where I just left the game running for an hour and a half to play around with exactly this part of the game.

Edit: left it open in a window while I did other things, to be clear.
