Eh, let’s just say season 8 jumped the shark. When did they get rid of intricate layered jokes?
Usually the Principal and the Pauper is cited as the episode that never should have happened. The retconning of Marge´s and Homer´s past are another thing. About season 8 seems right.
There probably are some nice things up to at least season elven but I always advocate had they ended the show on the season finale where Bart and Lisa graduate from the military academy (after which they actually would have moved on the grade 5 and 3 respectivly) it would have been perfect.
Do you guys know the story that Conan O´Brian and other famous writers from the show tell that they had planned to reveal at the shows finale (in case they had got cancelled) that Marge has rabbit´s ears under her hair?

But I don’t have fun playing football! If it would have bicycles in it. Or a javelin. Or dice. Then we could talk about it. But if you play only football, then I prefer to invite @tasse-tee on the stands for some ice cream and crisps (aka chips). But I have to admit that I can’t wait to so see the forum members playing in their TWP tribute pigeon costumes!

It wouldn’t be very easy to play football in a pigeon costume!
On the other hand, if our plan is to stand around and eat ice cream and crisps, I fear we may be called upon to become the team mascots…

You know it’s hypothetically speaking only, right?
I would probably stumble over the ball and break my leg at kick-off in reality. But virtually we need all our players on the field, there are no reserve players. Just pretend it’s an RPG and role-play along ok? Pass across to #8! She smiles at the opposing team’s defence, who are flabberghasted by that smile, aims next to Guga the goalie (who falls down) and… scores!
