I’m so sorry for your loss. @Gffp said what I would have wrote.
I often find, that reminiscing the moments spent with the person passed bring them to life again in our minds.
Sorry to hear that man.
Sorry to hear that Hope things get better for you soon.
And with that like I mean:
Renato Cecchetto died.
He was an italian dubber (“Shrek”, “Toy Story”, among the other movies).
In the LucasArts world, he’s well-known for his low and deep voice to Manny Calavera in Grim Fandango, italian version.
I´m not dying (yet…who knows when we go.) but since this has turned out to be my most long lasting popular topic I thought what better way to wrap this thread up (and with it my nearly 5 year tenure at this wonderful forum) than with this apt piece:
Goodbye everybody!
I refuse to say goodbye to you. As this is not our goodbye.
But, for death, I’d like to quote the late Steve Jobs: “Death is very likely the single best invention of Life. It is Life’s change agent. It clears out the old to make way for the new.”
The older I get, the more truth I find in this.
Are you saying you will be less or no more active over here, or did I missunderstand it?
First, Harold. Today, him, the director.
I’ll miss you, great Ivan Reitman, the director of the original Ghostbusters.
Today we’ve said goodbye to our sweet Kuma.
Like means:
Man, what a sad day today!
Here are a few pictures from the last week. She suddenly fell ill in late December and a CT scan showed it was lymph node cancer in the head.
Today at 2.
This morning.
Yesterday. She’d had a sudden heavy nosebleed from the tumor. She still seemed so lively that morning.
A couple days ago.
The 9th. Last time she sat in that spot she 9nce so enjoyed I think.
24 December, she was sick but seemed to he getting better
That’s sad. How old was she?
When we adopted her in 2015 she was estimated to be two, so about 8.
Ooh… so sorry for you and Mel
