Tell me your dreams

Yeah, and I’m in front of it!

Please make worsening your english your new shtick, I would enjoy that immensly!

:iran:

Haha, I didn´t even mean it like that, though. It just sounded like you were working on something that you would like to make public today or so.

What is this? Do you want me to sign a nuclear disarming (or arming?!) deal or what?

Oh, haha.

I wanted an emoji that implied irony. I looked for an iron but there isn’t one. So I went with Iran.

I mean, DUH.

And yes I noticed the mistakes in my sentence but on the other hand…

Yes I know it should be iranian, but that´s the joke! Arghghh!

I still have no idea of what you are talking about and what this has to do with hot chilis. I really need an English course…

Don’t worry, I’ll usually turn a blind eye if it’s in the name of humour (or mild humour, in your case).

Where did hot chillis come in?

Here:

That was the starting point of that whole discussion.

Where I was refering to the Simpsons episode where Homer is tripping on chillis and said “I hope I didn´t brain my damage”

I’ve just realised I didn’t really answer that properly and don’t want you to think I’m being intentionally cryptic

I just meant that I get that from past experience. I’ve often had ideas and then when it comes to putting them on paper for people to read the pressure garbles it.

(And by ‘bit behind’ I just meant I was behind on my forum reading, hence quoting an old post.)

Phew, harmless misunderstandings are the best kind.

I dreamed I was at a party on a big, grand ship a bit like Titanic. I went to sit with my mum but the only free chair had a pile of baked beans on it. I asked a waitress if she could get me another one but she never came back. I went around looking for one but they were either too heavy to carry, or the wrong style as apparently that was important. Some were fold-up and I couldn’t open them.

There was one bit where I went over to some tables and there were loads of sweets and you had to get a tray and put each type of sweet in the little individual compartments. They were what we would call ‘penny sweets’ - pink shrimp, gummy cherries, things like that. My cousin was there and said we do this every year and all I could think was how bad it is for your teeth.

There was more to it than that but annoyingly I fell back to sleep afterwards so my memory is hazy.

Would you like to make a cruise or have you already done a cruise? (btw: my auto-correction suggests “crusade” instead of “cruise”…)

Do you remember if this situation was comfortable (at the beginning)?

I’ve done a cruise, but this was a bit different. It was an old style ship (I possibly got it from an X-Files episode actually).

I’d like to do a crusade though.

I think I was more intrigued at first, then a bit worried that I’d have to eat the sweets and didn’t want my teeth to rot. I’ve been eating a lot of sweets and chocolate lately so that might be why.

Aren´t you on a crusade already? A crusade for better english?

That’s true. Though it doesn’t feel epic enough to be called a crusade.
