After traversing the cave by putting a rock up the geyser thus opening a secret passage, using the reflective glass to deflect a laser barrier and narrowly escaping acid dropping stalactites, Wilco has encountered a strange lifeform that after some initial confusion (he had forgotten to turn on his translator, thus he got sent back and had to traverse the cave again!) promised to help him escape the planet in exchange of a favour.
That favour entails dealing with a creature that lives in a cave on the surface.
In case Wilco runs into any more trouble IĀ“ll have to have a word with the boards AI @PiecesOfKate bot again. First IĀ“m gonna have him try out a few things during the course of the day, though.

TBH right now IĀ“m stuck for the most stupid reason ever. The aliens offered me a vehicle to escape to another place but I forgot what it is, so I cannot use it! 
Do you need to specify that?

I donāt remember having to name my destination - I think you need to do something to use the vehicle. Think of how vehicles usually operate.
No, the problem is I donĀ“t remember what the vehicle is called. Looking at it doesnĀ“t really do anything
Have you got the vehicle though? Maybe you just need to turn it on. Which doesnāt have to involve saying what it is.

And OF COURSE that skimmer canĀ“t touch even tiny stones!

I thought you could just type āturn keyā but maybe thatās after.
You have to sit inside first before you can do that. I couldnĀ“t have gone on without being reminded somehow what that thing was, again!

Yeah so my strategy is using the slowest speed setting now, but that also means that evading the stones takes really long and wonĀ“t help much either. Also it seems to take an eternity to approach that horizon.

Just keep saving and persevering. I hated these arcade sequences. There are worse ones in the later games but some you can fudge a bit.

Yeah, okay so IĀ“ll just save every few passed stones.
Just like I beat Dracula in the first NES Castlevania on the NES Mini. Save after every hit without getting hit yourself.
